Overcoming Being Anxious

Matthew 6:31 Therefore do not worry, saying, "What shall we eat?" or "What shall we drink?" or "What shall we wear?"

Worry is the art of continuing to feel anxious or uneasy. Untold numbers of Christians have been tempted and are frequently yielding to worry.

They spend fruitless hours worrying about something that never happens. The secret of answered prayer is to put Jesus in first place in your life, and come to a place of total dependency upon His promises.

You must reach a greater understanding that God means you, and not just a selected few, for His promises. When you seek His will concerning the answers to your needs, and use the divine faith that He has given you, you will see your needs are met according to His resources instead of your own strength and resources. Look for Scriptures to overcome your concerns, put them to memory, then depend on them.
