The Power Of His Might

Eph 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].

Eph 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Eph 6:14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

Eph 6:15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Eph 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Eph 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Eph 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Eph 6:19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

Quick And Powerful Is The Word of God

Hbr 4:12 For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Word Of Wisdom

Mat 7:1 ¶ Judge not, that ye be not judged.
Mat 7:2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
Mat 7:3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
Mat 7:4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam [is] in thine own eye?
Mat 7:5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
Mat 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
Mat 7:7 ¶ Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
Mat 7:8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
Mat 7:9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
Mat 7:10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
Mat 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
Mat 7:12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
Mat 7:13 ¶ Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide [is] the gate, and broad [is] the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Mat 7:14 Because strait [is] the gate, and narrow [is] the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Mat 7:15 ¶ Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Mat 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Mat 7:17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
Mat 7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither [can] a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Mat 7:19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Mat 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Mat 7:21 ¶ Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Mat 7:24 ¶ Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
Mat 7:25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
Mat 7:26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
Mat 7:27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
Mat 7:28 And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
Mat 7:29 For he taught them as [one] having authority, and not as the scribes.

Let Your Light So Shine

A Light that shines into darkness...

Have you ever noticed when you walk into a dark room, and turn the light switch on that the light over powers the darkness. We as followers of Christ, as His bride, are like lights that overcome darkness.

Love being the greatest of all gifts is like a light that shines brightly and overcomes darkness. Love overpowers depression. Love overcomes fear. Love encourages the hopeless, offers hope to the downcast, and blesses the hearts and souls of men. Love covers a multitude of sins, and overcomes all things.

So allow the love of Christ to flow through you like a lamp brightly burning, that gives light to those in need. The hungry, the hurting, the lost, the hopeless. Reach out as a light that loves, that burns brightly, and that is full of compassion towards others.

Blessings, in the love of God

Shine Brightly

Mat 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Are you a bright joyful, encouraging, loving, compassionate light, that shines forth into the darkness of the world? Through brotherly love, compassion, friendship, service, and simply allowing the love of Christ to flow through you?

We all have our days. I call them good days, and bad hair days. Sometimes we try to simply be that light that shines for Christ and we find ourselves overcome by our own shortcomings, situations and struggles with life.

Yet we can turn to our God in times of need, having the right to come boldly before the Throne of grace, and make our requests known unto Him. So hey, if you having one of those good days, that's awesome. However if you are having one of those bad hair days, remember, your light will only shine brightly if you stay plugged into Jesus. So take time, and make time, and spend time alone with God.

Keys To Blessings, and Favor

We all want to be blessed abundantly. There is nothing greater that God's love flowing upon us through His favor. The favor of God changes things, changes lives, changes circumstances, situations, finances and the entire atmosphere around us.
The following scriptures are the word's of Jesus as recorded in the book of Matthew. It reads that Jesus opened His mouth and taught them saying "Blessed Are!". Happy, are those who....

Mat 5:2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying, Mat 5:3 Blessed [are] the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Mat 5:4 Blessed [are] they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Mat 5:5 Blessed [are] the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Mat 5:6 Blessed [are] they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Mat 5:7 Blessed [are] the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Mat 5:8 Blessed [are] the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Mat 5:9 Blessed [are] the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Mat 5:10 Blessed [are] they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Mat 5:11 Blessed are ye, when [men] shall revile you, and persecute [you], and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Mat 5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great [is] your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Bless Your Day

Wouldn't our world be a better place if love ruled, the love of God flowing through humanity, and each person's heart was set on blessing others with words of encouragement?

Word's that were full of love, truth, righteousness, compassion, and encouragement.

Bless The Lord Oh My Soul

Is God awesome or what? Yes He is.

Many see God as some long lost myth. However that is far from the truth. In todays busyness, and fast paced lifestyles, many don't have time to think about God. There are so many demands in life, from life it's self, to family, to children, the bills, work scheduales, and so on. I mean who has time right?

Well that is the way of the world. Busy, busy, busy. Go, go, go, get, get, get, and the you are known by what you own, where you live, what you drive, and all those material possessions.

But what about God? Where does God fit into all this? Where is there time for this God?

Maybe with the simplicity of a 2 minute prayer once a day for starters. Maybe in spending 5 minutes a day reading the bible. Maybe in spending even one Sunday a month at church, for starters.

I believe that God would like that. If in the busyness of life, his creation, his children, found some time, some space, and said "Lord, here Am I". Lord this time is for you.

Hey all good things, even the best of friendships starts with a hello, and some quality time getting to know one another.

In Christ, We Are

There is nothing more powerful to a believer than knowing who he or she is in Christ. One can know who the Lord is, know of His love, grace, mercy hope and promises. However it is equally important to know who we are in Christ.
